Those look like good treats. The only thing I am personally unsure of is the Potato ingredient. I think I read somewhere that potato is an allergen for some Malts (but not sweet potato). I think London might have a mild allergy to poultry and/or potato, so that's the only reason. I was feeding her Duck & Potato food, then switched to Venison & Sweet Potato and it seems her tearstaining is improving some.[/B]

I'm not a vet, of course, but I have not heard of the potato allergy. I have always been under the impression that potato was a great simple starch for animals because it doesn't come in contact with most hormones and pesticides that are introduced to other strains of food. So, I really don't know. But I do know that despite lots of allergies to lots of things (both food and nature) he has done well on these treats. Hunter does have a poultry issue which is why we came off of Duck as well - it was a great switch for us too!

Leslie,
Thank you so much, I actually bookmarked these treats. Hubby and I laughed that they seemed like something we would want to nibble on as well. Once we are out of our current treats I intend to give these a try
