Will be MIA next week, please pray for my mom
I will be MIA for the next week. I am going to be with my mom. She is having an abdominal aortic aneurysm repaired this coming Wednesday, Nov. 7th. I will leave tomorrow and hope to be home on Sunday the 11th. I hope everyone has a great week. I believe in the power of prayer and would appreciate any prayers anyone might like to offer. Take care....
Because of the hospital stay and my schedule, Sassy will be staying home with her daddy. I will miss her terribly and I know she will miss me too, but she will be happy at home with daddy. Sassy & my d/h are my 2 BFF's and I am already dreading my trip.

Pat - of course you know that I'll be praying for you and your Mom. I know how important prayer can be.
BTW -- where is she (what part of the country)? I know that you'll miss Sassy and your DH, but right now you need to concentrate on your Mom. Prayers and hugs coming your way.

Pat....prayers and hugs to you and your Mom. Times are so hard when we take care of family. As long as Sassy is fine just take care of what you need to. Hugs to you.

Pat, I'll be thinking of and praying for you and your mom and her medical team. I hope that all goes successfully with the procedure. Sassy will miss you too but will give you many kisses when you see her

I will be praying for your mom too. That is a serious surgery and I will pray for her medical team that God works through them. I work at a heart hospital, btw. Where is she going to be? I also pray for you to stay safe traveling. Do you have a laptop, tablet, or smart phone you can take with you? Most hospitals have WiFi these days.

Pat,
I will definitely keep your Mom in my prayers for a speedy recovery with no complications and wisdom for all the medical staff who care for her. A couple of years ago I spent 2 mo. in NY taking care of my Mom after her cancer surg. It was hard work but I treasure the time I was able to care for her and spend one on one time and give back all the love and nurturing our Mom's gave to us when we needed it. Your mother must be so relieved that you'll be there!
