My exciting news - Maltese Dogs Forum : Spoiled Maltese Forums

I have exciting news that I haven't blabbed about yet but can't keep it a secret any longer. Our house is a raised bungalow and so there is stairs no matter where you go in the house. Since I have severe back problems....spinal stenosis, degenerative disk disease and osteoarthritis, I am finding stairs really difficult all the time so we decided to sell our house and build a regular bungalow with no stairs. We won't finish the basement so everything will be all on one level! Yay. Our house sold in a matter of days and we started our new one about a month ago. I am beyond excited about this new house.

We move in on Feb. 15th so it's going to be a long 3 months waiting because I am very impatient when it comes to something I want really badly! Here is a couple of pictures.
First pic is the back of the house. Couldn't get a good one from the front. Hopefully windows go in today.

Nope Sani, no more puppies. I LOVE spoiling Pipper so much and I don't want to share my attention with anyone but him.

The back problems aren't a big deal, I was born with the stenosis so I've had back pain all my life and I'm used to it. I used to think it was normal and that everyone's back hurt. I figure some people have things that are a lot worse.

Kathy, I'm excited for you. I like one level too - only second level for me is my studio, a loft with a spiral stair.
I too have back problems, it's not fun, I completely understand.
Looking forward to seeing your house finished!
