Haven't been too active...sorry!

I did post some in the private forum but wanted to let those who don't go there that life has simply gotten a bit 'wonky' and though I do pop in and read as I can ...and an occasional post here and there and that's about it.

My hubby has been having a lot going on... it seems one Dr./test/procedure shows up a new 'issue''' so that means more Drs/ more tests and procedures.

He had a reent PET scan ( a bit of a concern with a nodule that cropped up)... It appears that it's not cancer ...whew!
However he does have problem with his airways 'closing" so he has a bronchoscopy scheduled for Mon. ( out-patient procedure) Hopefully this will help him feel better with breathing!!

However , scan shows severe calcification with coronary arteries...so next will be a stress test. Blood work showing a bit of elevations in liver ( we knew that and that is to be addressed BUT also some elevations in kidney values so heart Dr. wants to address that as well...

Also... some severe inflammation in bowel ( apart from the findings of several diverticula BUT NO diverticulitis which we were already aware of one in another area. ).... Colonoscopy is then next on the 'agenda' I believe.

It is getting pretty overwhelming with all these DR appt, test, procedures, etc.
Also, so tiring/frustrating is having to be so 'on top of things'. Today pre-op testing and heart Dr appt. Every step of the way there were glitches. Most minor..( like gal writing in wrong secondary INS co...in spite of the fact she had the cards right in front of her.!) to another gal having hit wrong 'button' on computer then couldn't get out or go forward!...finally another gal came and 'fixed'. We spent more time doing 'paperwork' or trying to correct wrong info... than actual 'testing'.
It's a full time job just trying to keep all the things straight as which DR. wants what ! Kepping various procedure instructions in order etc.

Soooo though the computer is a bit of 'escape'.. I' usually just too tired to 'write'.
Hopefully in a ffew weeks we'll have all this stuff behind us!! and Hopefully the end result will be all good news!

So sorry your DH is going through these medical issues but its important to stay on top of stuff before it creates a bigger issue. Prayers that all goes well for him and you both can have some peace of mind. Post when you can and keep us posted on how things go.
