Default An Early Thanksgiving Wish

I'm celebrating Thanksgiving today with the full meal tonight. Just took the apple pie out of the oven. My son will be home from working in Denver, my husband will be here instead of work where he's been working very long hours and weekends. Tyler of course is thankful for his life and his treats. And I'm still, at this minute, trying to convince my brother to fly in from Chicago later today. He might make a 3:45 flight. Fingers and paws crossed.

As some of you know from FB, I'm celebrating today because tomorrow, Jim and I are volunteering to serve Thanksgiving dinner to Superstorm Sandy victims in Long Beach, NY a community hit hard. A restaurant raised $30,000 and plans to feed the whole community in big heated tents. I feel like we have so many blessings in our lives that we just want to help those who are struggling to make it through each day. Thanksgiving is a good reminder of that but we should live it every day.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends here on SM. I'm so thankful for your friendship, guidance and support.

Susan, that's so wonderful to give your time. I'm betting you will have the most rewarding day ever.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too, and to your family and everyone here at Spoiled Maltese!

That is so nice of you and your husband to have your Thanksgiving meal a day early so that you can spend Thanksgiving Day helping those who need it!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. That is so nice your volunteering in Long Beach...I use to live in Long Beach right across the street from the beach/boardwalk in a Townhouse. I feel for all affected by the storm....it has been devastating.

Enjoy your dinner with your family and of course handsome Tyler.

Thanks Lyndsy. I'm figuring this was autocorrect with the word Apply. Am guessing it's Happy. Thanks so much.

Thanks so much, Pam. It's kind of fun to have the meal one day ahead and dream of leftovers tomorrow after we work all day.

Oh gosh, Barbara. Isn't it unthinkable what's happened? You look at the boardwalk and it was ripped up like it was a toy And the sand has looked like snow drifts. But all that can be repaired. I feel worst for people's personal homes and items and many still living in the cold.

Have a nice night and save me a piece of apple pie.

Tomorrow one of the things I will say thanks for is the privilege of knowing you.
