My Mom's good news
Some of you may remember back in October, my Mom had a very risky major surgery because the main artery running thru the abdomen to supply blood to the legs was totally blocked They removed this artery and replaced it with an artificial one. She had her follow up appt today and the surgery was a total success. The blood is flowing thru the legs the way it should. Her feet are no longer like blocks of ice and she is totally pain free. She had been in so much pain for about 1 1/2 years and now there is no more pain. She had to use a walker to walk and now she forgets it in another part of the house most of the time because her walking is getting better every day. They had doubts that she would even pull thru the surgery let alone come along as well as she has. What great news.
