Thank you so much,everyone! It was a long and exhausting day. They took her back around 10 this morning and we finally got to see her around 4 PM. He removed they whole upper lobe of her left lung and 5 lymph nodes. He said the lymph nodes didn't look cancerous but will help with staging in pathology. They had her on BiPap right after surgery but were able to easily wean her off. She has two chest tubes. She will be in CVICU for about 3-4 nights, then a regular room another 3-4 nights. She was in a lot of pain and I hope it is better controlled and she can get some sleep tonight.
