Biography Channel

I have a really odd request. I do not have cable tv and 99% of the time, I'm completely fine with it as I don't watch tv very often. However, there is a show on the Biography Channel on Dec 27, that I really, really want, almost need to see. Do any of you get that channel? And, is there a way that it could be recorded so that I can watch it?

Some of you old timers will remember about 4 years ago my stepson was killed. He & his girlfriend were fighting and she stabbed him. She claims self defense, and as bad as I hate to say it out loud, it is quite probable that it was. This show is called "Him or Me" something like that and their story is being featured.

I'm so desperate to see this show, I'm about ready to start calling hotels to see if they carry it on their program lineup. lol

I'll see if I can record it. I have a DVR. I can record it for you and see if i can put it on dvd.If not I know I can get it on vhs, not sure why it will only record on vhs,but I'll try to do it for you...

Lynne - I had no idea. I think it might have been right before I got on SM. I'm so sorry. So scary. I don't know if I get Biography because I just have basic cable but I'll check and also see if we have a DVD recorder that can do it. Have to check with my DH since that might be the recorder that's in VT.

I'm really sorry, Lynne. I don't remember this happening to you.

I looked on Biography.com and they offer videos of some of their shows. "It Was Him or Me" is not offered yet. Maybe it will be at a later date.

I know I can DVR it, but I'm not sure about recording it onto a DVD. If I figure it out, I'll let you know. (I love techy things)

Sorry Lynne, I no longer have a VCR. I think the show is It was Him or Me on at 10 PM (eastern) that night. It is the pilot of the show - "A woman abused by her lover, and Army vet with post-traumatic stress disorder." It is possible that it might eventually be streamed on biography, since this is the pilot.

That is the story. Chris turned 18 in July and the middle of the following month, he was on the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The information from the show says Chris was 24 when they met. He was only 22 when he died. He was 20 maybe when they met.
