Aww, Terry ... I am sorry you are not feeling well. There will be many times for other dinners. Right now you need to take care of yourself, just as you are doing. And, just to make sure you have time to fully recuperate ... why not plan on welcoming in the New Year while snuggled under the blankets and watching TV?

Thanks everyone... I just got up for a bit, I get 'tired' of laying BUT being 'upright' isn't all that great either. I rarely get 'sick'... very rarely. Yes aches and pains etc. almost daily... but not 'sick'.

I'm wearing a mask to protect my hubby and staying away from him as much as possible ... he doesn't need this added to his problems for sure. My poor babies look so bored but are faithfully staying quietly by my side, God love them.

Not 'celebrating' right on Christmas day truly doesn't bother me at all... I know I WILL get together and as mentioned , for everyones sake this is the best decision even if I could have pushed myself to do it.

Barb and Kathy... hope you both start to feel better soon! We can all think of each other as we get on the mend!
