My heart aches today.
Today concludes my visit, I'm currently sitting in front of my gate, we board in about an hour. I've been a sobbing mess for well over an hour now. It's just hard for me to be in the Christmas spirit right now. It ended way too quickly. My heart hurts. I hope I'll see my family soon, and while I'm excited to see my BF again and while his family is great, it's just not the same. Sophie can definitely tell I'm upset, she keeps licking my tears. She was a hit! Everyone loved her. I'll give more details on my trip later.

Oh Ashley, I'm so sorry you are upset. I know it's hard to be in the Christmas spirit right now, but try to think about the good times you just had with your family and cherish that.
And of course Sophie was a hit. How can you not help but fall in love with that cute little fluff.

Ashley, I am so sorry your upset, especially since its Christmas. I can imagine how hard it was to leave your family and not spend more time. Have a safe trip back home and try to smile. Just look at your precious furbaby! Merry Christmas!! : )

We still haven't taken off, the weather in Dallas is atrocious. We just had to return to the gate, were waiting to hear if the flight will be cancelled.

I know it's hard at the holidays, it's hard for me too. Thankfully I have Al, Jason and my fluffs. My father called on christmas, up until then, our Christmas was doing fine...
It's good that you have Sophie with you if you have to be stuck at the airport for bad weather.... We're all here and we're all sending lots of hugs and nose kissies!
