Default There are still good people in the world!

Today we spent Christmas day visiting my mom in ICU. Not a fun way to spend the holidays, but some therapy-dog volunteers helped make it special. I just think it was wonderful for these folks to give up time with their own families on Christmas to come with their dogs and visit patients at the hospital. They put smiles on a lot of faces today.

There is definitely something special about "dog" people.

A fluff can make anyone feel good. We went to the nursing home this evening and the fluffs made their rounds bringing cheer to folks at the facility...I know they enjoyed it too.

Pet therapy is an amazing thing indeed. Hope your Mom is feeling a bit better and that you were able to get some rest too.

What a wonderful thing for those volunteers and their dog's to do on Christmas. I hope that your mom gets well soon.

That is really neat. I am happy that they did come for your mom. I know that it is tough when a loved one is in the hospital at Christmas, may she get better soon.
