you know Bridget when I was reading your story, the first thing that came to my mind is God knew your heart, I bet your mom loved just being with you even if you couldn't have a day out. I'm a mom and us mom's just love being there, she knows you love her and I know she loves you.

Thank you all so much again. Your kind words have meant a lot to me. We may try to visit them later in the summer. My Mom and DH both have very challenging work schedules. I've done the drive to Mom's home by myself several times before, but honestly I think those days are over. It took me about 12 hours by myself, and let's face it, that's not fun, or terribly safe. The other thing is that they have a maltipoo who would likely not love Bella as much as Mom does

. We'll just have to wait and see what the summer brings us. Thanks again everyone!
