First play date tomorrow and grooming scheduled!

Fiwst of aww, Happy New Year! I don't rewwy know what dat is, but mommy was all happy and ecited wate at night, but I got some tweats so whateber it is it ok by me! Next, mommy just noticed my front 2 teefs is wose and she can see my big girl teefs coming in on da tops! Yay! Tomorrows is a big days for me, mommy says I'm gonna meet a new fwiend. One of mommys old friends from middwe schoow has a Yorkie! Hers name us Lady and she's 2 yeaws old. I hope she pways wiff me, most of the udder doggies mommy makes me see are old and don't wanna pway. But I can teww mommas excited and so is I. She says we're gonna go to da park so I can run and pway aww I want! Mommy scheduled me my very own first hair cut on Saturday. Mommy says I have surgery in a week, so mommy says it will be easier if I have a little shorter hair. Everyone says mommy is weird because she doesn't want to just drop me off at the groomer, she wants to watch and make sure dey's don't mess up my hairs and my face. I'm plays wiff dat cause I wub being wiff mommy all the time! Mommy says she'll post pictures after my grooming on Saturday. Okay, bye awnties, hab a good day! Have fun with Lady.... Yorkies are a lot of fun!!! Just ask Dewey! We'll be waiting for your reveal from the "Beauty Parlor" You are going to look gorgeous!!!!

Sophie - it sounds like you have a much busier social schedule than I do
 though at this particular moment that's not so hard to do. I think playing with a Yorkie will be so much fun -- my second favorite breed and up until tyler, my most favorite pet. Can't wait to see your new do. And I'm just like your mommy - I stay for the grooming

My, you have such a busy life already! I hope the Yorkie plays with you and everybody has lots of fun. I don't blame your mommy for staying with you at the groomers. Since I've had two different groomers do something I specifically asked them not to do, I will stay with Leila from now on too. I'm gonna try grooming her myself for a little while until we get those face hairs grown out. She just had her surgery today, so she can't have a bath for two weeks now anyway.

We had a great play date, Sophie is kinda getting the hang of being on a leash, but she scared Lady. Anytime Sophie would go to sniff her, Lady would start trembling, sweet little thing. I'd say she was about 2.5 pounds "teacup" she's fully grown, 3 years old. And she's a rescue
Were planning on getting them together more often so that they'll both be better socialized. All in all Sophie had fun sniffing around, she's still getting used to being allowed outside. And it was really fun catching up with a friend I hadn't seen in at least 6 years.Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App
