This question is for those that don't sleep with another person/significant other.
What size bed to you have? I have the king size bed that I've used with Jerry and then without him once he was ill. The 3 fluffs and I have plenty of room in the bed. My guest room has a double bed. I would really prefer a queen size bed, but, I don't have any linens to fit a queen bed. I'm thinking of moving the double bed into the master bedroom and getting rid of the kind size bed. So I'm asking if you think it will be big enough for me and the 3 fluffs. |

If you like to be squished or snuggled it would work. It depends on where they sleep, Jodi sleeps right where the 2 pillows meet even though one is pushed to the side. And sometimes crossways where the pillow would be. No matter if I move him over a little, he creeps back. And then there's the cat prowling around and sometimes finding a spot. If they are towards the bottom or keep to one side it might work. And Secret is so small she may not take up much space. I think a queen size would be ideal.

Brenda -- during the winter, the girls snuggle and I have only about a foot of bed. LOL They snuggle more and I move closer to the edge. I think I'll almost fall off. Secret sleeps between the pillows at my head.
In the summer, they give me a little more room because it's warm (but not much). |

I use a queen for my babies. However the almost always sleep outside. In the floor. Don't know why. Their bed is orthopedic just like mine so soft and comfy. 🐶🐶🐶

I still have a king. When I got my new mattress I considered uneven but didn't want to buy all new headboard, linens, etc. i don't think I'd go to a double, though.

LOL when I was visiting my parents over Christmas I DID fall out of the bed, I didn't realize I was that close to the edge. I'm blaming that on the cat though.

A double with three fluffs when you are used to a king would be tight. Both my sons have doubles and I can't see fitting any more than one person and one small dog on a double.

I wish I had a king!!!! The queen that we have is ok though but I think the full will be too small. You could try sleeping in the guest room and see how it goes but I think you'll miss the space now that you are used to the king. If you really would prefer more space in the bedroom I would go with a queen.

I do have another human bed-mate, but the dogs come to bed with me before he comes to bed. I find it kind perfect for myself and just the two fluffs. I queen might be okay, but a double is way too small. What I like about queen is that they are prettier beds, linens cost a lot less than king and they are a good size for one person and some fluffs.
Why not just keep the king size bed? If Alan disappeared, I would definitely keep the king size bed.
