I'm so sorry about the accident. It must have been so painful. My husband had a horrible hand injury years ago (hmmm 28 years ago when I first wrecked my knee) and he needed surgery since he nearly cut off his finger.
I would strongly suggest that your BF see a hand specialist. They are fabulous and know a lot more about what's going on and even physical therapy to get full use back. It's a very specialized field and they're worth their weight in gold. Hoping he feels better.
And Lynda - are you okay, hon? What happened to your hand? Feel better.

Ashley, so sorry your BF was hurt. Don't think there is much more you can do than to try and keep him as comfortable as possible. Thank goodness it wasn't worse. Prayers and hugs to you, your BF and sweet Sophie!

Ashley, I am probably old enough to be your grandma, but I came up with some very good ways to easy your beloved's pain. Unfortunately, they are X rated and I can't post them here. Use your imagination. Poor man hurts...replace the pain with pleasurable feelings. He needs to feel your love.

I do try to be funny, but honestly I am dead serious. My wonderful DH works hard for a living, he has a lot of pain, sometimes from injuries, sometimes just from wear...I love him and I want to take away his pain.
