I used to love to cook, but not anymore. I'm tired of eating every single day. That isn't much inspiration to cook, is it?
Oh wait, I missed the point. Lol!

Den loves to eat!! He is very complimentary towards me when I cook, but today I don't care if he buys me a diamond ring, I'll still cook, but I'm not going to enjoy it!......................We're having baked chicken and scalloped potatoes.

LOL... love it!
![]() I too have come to finding cooking burdensome! Hubby isn't 'fussy' or never used to be but Of course with him now in later years being diabetic and high blood pressure... ( low carbs.low salt etc) making things tasty and fit the 'criteria' is hard. Oh I have 'mastered' several but then they become boring. I don't have a big freezer so making something that doesn't result in lots of leftovers is also a challenge. Tonight we will have steaks , salad and veggie ( haven't decided spinach or brocolli yet) . seee???? BOOOORING !!!!!!!!!! I did have ham for our Christmas/New Year dinner then had so looked forward to homemade pea soup using the bone for stock. It's somehing we both love and don't have often... Weeelll... Don't know what went wrong but it was AWFUL!!!.. couldn't even eat it! It tasted 'burned' even though it wasn't! ?????? To be honest.. I could have a bowl of Cherios..call it a day and be very content! LOL

I have managed to convince my husband that cereal for dinner is a great idea. He somehow thinks it was his idea!
He says that oatmeal is really good for cholesterol. I get home so late from work that by the time we eat neither of us really appreciates it anyway because we are so tired. Plus, I hate the clean up. So we have a cabinet full of cereal and most nights that is what we have. I am lucky to have such a kind husband!
