I have a stinking cold and have had to phone in sick for work today if i had an office job i would have possibly gone in but with my job once your at 34,000ft there isnt anywhere to go if you feel worse and flying tends to make colds worse and effects your ears too!!

So i have positioned myself on the sofa with the laptop on my lap.....well maizy isnt too happy about the laptop being on my lap as she thinks its HER lap!!!!!! She is sat nudging it with her nose until i lift it up and she curls up in a ball on my lap

she just obviously wants to look after her mummy while she isnt feeling well!!!

Thank you for your well wishes!!

Im so glad i havent gone to work today as just had an awful phone call, my fiances dad is suffering from cancer and has taken a turn for the worst the past couple of weeks we have been trying to get him to call his consultant but he wouldnt. On sunday night his breathing got really bad and he got rushed to hospital in an ambulance. I have just had a call from BIL and the test results are back and show that the cancer has spread to his liver and there is fluid on his pancreus and it is far more aggressive tham before. I am waiting to speak to my fiance as he is at work and has no signal i dont know how i am going to tell him this news.

I am sat here in tears obv we are due to get married in nov and i cannot even begin to think of doing it without his dad and it just doesnt bare thinking about.

We will find out more as to treatment tomorrow when he see's his consultant.

Thank you im just hoping it is treatable and that he responds it certainly puts my moaning about a silly cold into perspective.
