Does anyone on here use one and if so has it made a difference in how you feel??
I failed a sleep apnea test miserably. Stopped breathing a total of 54 times during the test and 7 of those times was for more than 30 seconds which caused me to gasp for air apparently. Also, my oxygen level dropped to 41%. I feel tired all the time..feel like I'm walking around in a fog, forget things, my legs ache and I feel like crap all the time. Plus I have dark circles under my eyes from lack of sleep, so I look like crap too...LOL They told me this would clear up once I'm on the machine. Plus, they will give me some things to do to rehabilitate my lung capacity. I would love to hear from anyone who is on this machine... |

Those that can tolerate them love them. I am not one, gave me panic attacks.

Yeah, I will definitely have to take in the fact that I'm horribly claustrophobic...they have so many different options now...the full face mask will NOT cut it..believe me. But, Medicare and my other insurance will pay for it...and I really can't handle being this tired anymore, so I'm willing to give it a really good shot.

I think you will feel so much better with it... not to mention the health benefits for your lungs and heart!

My hubby went to a sleep clinic at my insistence!! He snored like a chain saw and was always tired . He does have sleep apnea! There has been a world of difference in how he feels!!! He's not falling asleep as soon as he sits down in the evening and not only has more energy , he's in a way better mood!!! I don't know about him, but I love it!!!! He said that if our power ever goes out, he'll get a hotel room so that he can plug in his machine!!

My boyfriend actually uses one after he did a sleep apnea test. He says it makes you feel so fresh and awake cause your getting oxygen through your brain, even if you just sleep 5 hours, you feel well rested. He's suppose to use it everyday but he said it was annoying to put the mask on everyday

I'm so tired all the time...I'm just sick of it. I look tired too...everyone says so. I'll be glad when I get this taken care of. Now I'm afraid to fall asleep...LOL At least I know I'm breathing when I'm awake...Jeez!!!
My husband is surprised that I gasp for air...he says he's never heard me do that...but he knows that I wake up constantly during the night... |

My husband passed with flying colors. He snores when he's really tired, but not often. With him being a truck driver, he was required to have the test.
Why couldn't he get through the test? I know its weird to have all that stuff on you, but I was able to fall asleep. I kept saying I didn't snore either, but apparently I was WRONG!!! LOL.....The technician said I snored like a chainsaw...that's attractive!!! I will actually be glad to get this taken care of. I hope the fogginess, tiredness, and just plain constant icky feeling will go away. |
