We used to have this at home growing up! We didn't use it often, probably because it was a hassle to use compared to, you know, a stove.

It's a two part design. We had an electric one but looks like Deb's is the traditional charcoal one.
The kettle on top is where you brew tea pretty strong. The pot at the bottom is where water is heated. You can prep it in the morning and then basically drink tea all day. The tea is brewed very strong and you mix water as per your preference from the bottom pot. Sent from Petguide.com Free App |

Didn't have one of those growing up. Technology came to India pretty late. I think it was in the early 90s when we got one, a very basic one too. And then my grandma had all these doubts about using it. "What if it poisons the food?"
