Just a quick intro to me and my fluffs. I have a mixed maltese/yorkie rescue (Morkie) named Mindy and a little chocolate Havanese named Cocotini (AKC name Twins Chocolate Martini). I'm planning on adding a little Maltese in the next few months so I knew this would be a great place to gain knowledge as to which breeders to contact. I'm very active on the Havanese Forum and have made so many friends there that I hope to make lots of friends here, too. I've attached (I HOPE) a couple of pictures of my dogs.

thanks for the nice comments! Jeanne-what would you like to know about Cocotini? She is 2 and a half years old and is considered a "chocolate" because of her chocolate colored pigment (nose, eye rims, lips). They are relatively rare. She is a small Havanese just barely hitting standard and weighs just slightly over 8 pounds. I got her from the breeder when she was 6 months old as the breeder was holding on to her to show. She wasn't sure at 6 mos that she would reach standards, so she became mine!!! She has a wonderful personality. She is sweet, friendly, quiet, affectionate, and all around adorable. She loves to wear clothes and is a definite Mommy's girl! She is also demanding of attention and a little alpha girl. She pushes sweet Mindy around- although Mindy is twice her age and quite a bit larger than Cocotini!! I have debated about getting another Havanese as they have such wonderful personalities and I have become friends with many great breeders, but I want a small dog and it is difficult to find small havanese from good breeders. The smallest one can be and meet standard is Cocotini's size and since this would be our third dog- a smaller Maltese may fit into our home better. I had a maltese many years ago after I graduated from college. He passed away of CHF just short of his 11th birthday. He was a wonderful little boy and I miss the little "lap dog" personality that the Maltese have. If there's anything else you'd like to know about Cocotini-just let me know!
