Wow, Camille! Sounds like you are going to be the best Maltese mommy to sweet Mindi! What a lucky girl to have found you and your family. My mom rescued a Bichon...your stories are similar. He was a filthy mess when she got him. She used to be a groomer, so she worked hard on his coat and the tear stains. He is so beautiful now. It takes a special person to overlook the rough outside at first and see the inner beauty of an animal. I'm so happy for you, and for Mindi. Congratulations!!
