Hi I just want to say this is the best site.
I used to have Yorkshire Terriers for many years but sadly all my babies have now gone to yorkie heaven and I inherited my maltese Harry from my son (well I sort of doggie napped him he he) anyway My boy Harry is just gorgeous and I have learnt so much from this site about caring for him and his beautiful white coat.I work full time so I keep him clipped easier for me and much easier for him. He is now very used to me fussing about with him.Whenever I read something that interests me I try it out on him straight away.I am sure he thinks oh my goodness what has she learnt today.

But he is learning very fast and lapping up all the attention.Now all I have to do is convince the hubby that Harry needs a playmate !!!!
So thank you everyone for sharing all your information.I appreciate it.

:Hi I would like to introduce my boy Harry.I clipped him quite short today as it is very hot and humid here in Sydney.Bit short but it is much easier for him and me!! I think he looks great!!.I love my boy to bits and I am very happy he is mine.

Yorkies are just beautiful I have had a few over the years my best one was Amelia who I raised from 3 days old which was a lot of work and she had everything that a yorkie should not have but she was just gorgeous cheeky spoilt she would not let me do anything in the way of grooming she would play up something severe.All she wanted was me to carry her around.I had her for thirteen years.When she passed I was very lost but along came my boy Harry and he is just the best thing.
