I am the proud owner of my first Maltese, Coconut Joe. He is a 5 month old puppy who we added to our family two months ago. He is the perfect addition to our family! He has just the right temperament and personality for our active and social family.

He is my first indoor dog, but I used to have a lovely Persian, Kitty, for 13 years, and I have two young children so I am ready in that sense. Lol! We just need to train ourselves better, so that Coconut Joe knows what is expected of him. We are a work-in-progress.

Just wanted to check in and say hi. I am having major surgery in two days and I will be separated from my sweet puppy for 5 days. Then I plan to have him snuggled up next to me as I recover the next few months.

Happy to join the Spoiled Maltese forums. I've learned so much since I started reading the threads a few months ago.

My surgery went well. I will be hospital 2 more days. Still need to get pain under control. I miss Coconut Joe! I wish I could explain to him that I am coming back.
, and I didn't abandon him. I think I will try to FaceTime him tomorrow.
