I think I figured out how to post this. Sorry for repeating myself. We have just adopted a 3 year old Maltese named Mia. I actually helped my neighbor find her online 2 months ago, but she realized after this time that she just can't take care of her due to some major physical problems. She really loves her, but just can't due her justice. She asked if we would take her, and we were thrilled to get her. She has found her forever home. She and I take a nice long walk twice a day and she's becoming friendly with our three cats slowly. She's sure about them, but they aren't too sure about her yet.
I will get her a puppy cut, and a shopping spree at Petco is coming up soon. She needs her nails clipped. Does anyone do that at home and if so, can you recommend an easy way to do it? |

Hello and welcome!
Clipping nails used to make me very nervous! I attended a grooming demonstration at Nationals a couple of years ago and learned to use nail clippers for cats instead of those made for dogs. It makes things so much easier! The dogs still hate it, but I at least can get it done quickly. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your little Mia.
