Welcome to SM!!! Lucas looks like a well loved dog and I don't think 16 Ibs is that big. Jasmine used to weigh 10 Ibs.

Lucas is simply adorable!!

Several years ago in our vet's office we met another Maltese that was fifteen pounds. And, one of my best friends has two sibling Malt's that came from the same breeder ... yet one fluff baby is about fourteen pounds and her sister is about six pounds. (she has shared this on SM a couple of times)

Welcome to our Spoiled Maltese family! I love the picture of you and your fluff baby Lucas!
