Default Hello I am New Here but not New to Malts Just lost My Girl

Hi everyone,

I've owned Maltese (2) for the last 22 years, one at a time. I had to make the very painful decision to put Sparkle to sleep on Tuesday, as she became paralyzed (hind legs) and was in terrible pain. Very sad now. :,( Maltese tears seem to be the worst.

She was my very, very special girl. I'm not ready now, but thought I'd put my name on a list maybe for the Fall at Marcris, Chrisman or Pashes.

So that's why I am here. I miss my girl. She was my writing buddy and it's hard to write now without her.

Enjoy looking at all the beautiful Malts.

I am so sorry for your loss. But, she has crossed over the bridge and will be waiting for you and she's playing with all the other Malts. Welcome to the forum....

You are among the most sympathetic, loving and caring group of maltese lovers on God's green earth. I am so sorry to hear of your loss (RIP)---no words, just common tears. These will make fertile the eventual find of a new love of your life---at the right time.
May your sweet memories grow sweeter as the days turn into summer once again soon.
Big hugs.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my boy Rocco the 1st of Dec. as well. We thought it would be awhile before we got another. We still miss Rocco so much! But we picked Riley up at the airport yesterday and he his a doll! Time is a wonderful healer.

Jeanne, I am so sorry for your loss of Sparkle. The pain of losing a fluff is very powerful....I lost mine 2 years ago and although I got another I miss her everyday. Sparkle will be in your heart forever...but she is now at peace.

When you are ready for another one you will know. Hope you stick around and we get to meet your new fluff....whenver that may be.

I am so sorry for your loss and I really can feel your pain. I lost two of my furbabies, including my 17 year old Maltese, this past summer. The pain of losing them can be so intense.

I'm glad you plan on bringing a new fluff into your life. I brought my baby Ivy home the first of November, and while the pain of losing my two others is still raw, Ivy makes me smile and laugh all day long and that is such a good thing. A new baby to love and cuddle will help turn the tears into a smile.

Hugs to you. You are among people here who truly understand your grief.

I'm very sorry that you had to have your baby Sparkle put to sleep. I know the pain too. Until you get your new Maltese bundle of love we will share ours with you. MiMi has a lot of Marcris and Chrisman dogs in her pedigree.

Welcome, and I am so sorry for your loss...

We had to send our 12 yr old family Yorkie to the bridge almost a year ago and it was by far one of the hardest things I've ever had to do... letting go of these babies is so hard... I was blessed to have adopted Ozzie already to help me get through Tiger's passing, but it is just not the same going over to my parents house and him not being there to greet me

I know when the time is right for you, you will open your heart up to another fluff and even though you will never forget your Sparkle, I believe another fluff will help in healing your heart, along with time, of course
