Well I finally was able to catch up on this story. What a week for you and Jett. I would have been beyond panicked if I were you too. You are blessed to have such a wonderful vet. She sounds so sensitive and honestly that is what you need in times like these. Whether it's a bump, a scratch a lump....if we are panicked our vets need to be sensitive to that and make us feel secure. Your vet gets a gold star from me for sure!

Please tell Jett I hope his lump goes down and I'm so glad it's nothing serious! And of course sorry for being m.i.a this week. Hugs to you Crystal!!!

I know that when I worked in the dental office, we would tell people to suck sour balls or anything that was really sour, to try and get the salivary gland working so it would drain. Does anyone know of any health reasons why I couldn't try to rub a little lemon juice as close to that area as possible? Gosh I'll feel like such a mean mom if I do that.
Well after forcing my little man to endure my rubbing lemon juice in his mouth several times yesterday and today, I'm thrilled to say the lump is greatly reduced!!! My sweet boy does not like the lemon juice at all. But he still wants 'uppies' and gives me kisses and snuggles. Oh if only I could be more like my fluffs.

I have to say, the genuine love and concern you all have shown me for my little man has made me a bit mushy. I feel like Sally Field..."And I can't deny the fact that you like (me) him . . . right now . . . you like (me) him" I don't know what I'd do without this community. Thank you all.

(Didn't realize how often I used the 'strike-through' feature. lol)

Oh, I am so glad that Jett's bump has gone down. I will have to remember about lemon juice. It is almost like all the mommies are trying to get other member's babies better through osmosis.........because we care!!!!! You are going to be the same little man you have always been Jett~~~

Talk about taking lemons and making lemonade.I can't believe that really works. Aren't you glad for your past dental experience? Just say "Aaaaaahaaaa"Jett's such a lucky guy to have you as his mom.
