I am so sorry no one can give you an exact diganosis.
I'm sure this is hard on you and Sassy.
Still praying.

This has got to be so frustrating for you Pat. I'm so sorry you and Sassy are going through this. Unfortunately, some diagnosis just take longer but of course it stresses us out in the meantime. However, it sounds like you have a great team behind you. Your vet, Dr. Jaimie and Jackie. I will continue to pray for Sassy and you. I hope you get some answers soon. Hang in there Pat. Thinking of you!!!!

Thanks to everyone for being so kind and remembering us in your prayers. Sassy is being spoiled even more these days if that is possible.

Pat, Dr. Jamie's post makes a lot of sense to me. Maybe by checking blood pressure etc will give you more 'pieces' to the puzzle.
I can understand your frustration....I've been one who needs to KNOW...one way or the other, never handled the unknown very well. I might not always like the 'answer' but at least it allows me to focus on the direction I must take.
Praying you get a definitive answer soon! Hugs to you and little Sassy!

Pat - as everyone says I'm so sorry you didn't get a definitive answer. I don't envy you being caught between a rock and a hard place. I'm kind of tending to think second opinion or at least a consult as well. When my DS was really ill I wanted to get to the best person there was and did that. I'm also wondering about a wait for the other tests. If ultrasound didn't give the full picture then more is needed I would assume. You seem to have caught this so fast that I hate for that edge to be wasted. Of course if you give the meds they suggested I know you will be the first one to let them know if something isn't working or is amiss. I'm thinking of you both and praying for Sassy.

I don't have advice to offer, but I want you to know that you and Sassy are in my thoughts. I'm hoping for the best outcome for her.

Pat I've been absent for a few days. I know how frustrating it is to try and diagnose Cushing's. Frosty had many symptoms but all his tests were none productive. I think I would do the bile acids tests to rule out a liver problem. It is non-invasive and easy. I didn't like messing with the tests that could be dangerous when we didn't know if they were going to help. Frosty was elderly when he had his problems and Sassy isn't, so there is a lot of difference. Old age and Cushing's symptoms are so alike that when his tests didn't reveal anything definite we stuck with old age.

I hope you get somewhere with this soon. It sounds like your vet is tops, which is a big comfort.
Loveys to you and Sassy.
Dee
