Hello.
I have a 1.5 year old maltese named Lily. Recently, she was not eating well and was having diarrheas and I found out there was a lump around her neck!! So I took her to the vet and she had to do the emergency surgery right away to remove abscess. The surgery went well which I am happy about but I could not find out why she had that. The vet told me sometimes bite wound causes it in big dogs but she never plays with big dogs and never got bitten. ![]() Did anyone have same experiences? |

Ohh poor Lily!! I have no idea as have not had that happen.
Glad you took her to the Vet asap and all is well now. Did he say what may have bitten her? Welcome to SM.

She had little tube on her neck for about a week so remaining can come out naturally.
![]() It looked very painful but she was running around and playing! Crazy little girl! Now, we removed all stitches and she is all good!
