What a horrible situation. I hope poor little Diamond gets well soon.
My Bichon used to be able to get to her back when she had a licking sore, I bought a bigger cone from the vet. Not fun for her but she healed really fast, actually it didn't really seem to bother her that much but she did crash into things. The inflatable one sounds a lot nicer to wear.
