Default Bachs rescue remedy for pets

Just wondering on who has heard of this product and who has used it. I have found that only in the States has the alcohol free one. I have used it and it seems to be great for stress / anxiety.

I have never heard of this but I am going to do some research. My Zoe has anxiety issues real bad when I leave her home alone. Going to see if I can read up on it.

I have given Zooey Rescue Remedy or a similar product called Sleepytime Tonic every day before I leave for work. I think it does help a little. I also keep her in a Thundershirt when I'm away.

The thunder shirt is amazing but Iam scared of keeping it on when I am not around. I have heaerd of breeders using rescue remedy on the dog if it goes into stress when giving birth. I have sent my boyfriend to New York :-) to go to Whole foods to get it. I have been using internally and externally.

I was apprehensive at first. I always take her collar off when I put the shirt on, and the shirt stays snug--it's never come off in the year I've used it.

Hope the Rescue Remedy works for your baby!

How long do the effects last with the Bachs? Also, does it put them to sleep or just relax them? I don't want to knock her out.

It relaxes them.... But a high enough dose will probably make them sleepy.

My vet told me to do 1 drop under her tongue, and that after her spay surgery she can have that up to every hour if she needs it (to keep her quiet).

The trick is to find the dose that works for you and your fluff. Start with 1 drop.... Notice any changes. Notice when it seems to wear off....

Grace has been getting 1 drop 3-4 times a day the last few days.

The drops are sweet! I tasted them

The directions aren't too specific about weight...it says 4 drops on a treat...is that too much. Mia is 5 1/2 pounds.

As mention before, Sleepytime tonic from Happy Tails is great. I tried it on his first grooming day even though I was the anxious one, and then in two other occasions where we had workers painting inside our patio and outside the house. First day I forgot about the Sleepytonic and Dominic was going crazy barking non stop. Second day I gave him 2 drops in AM and its impressive on how well it worked! Attachment 107842
