So Juliet has been in heat for 3 weeks not bleeding anymore but still swollen and she has grown boobs

she just turned 9 months on Friday and I've kept her in panties and kennel but Romeo still goes crazy!!! Could she be having false pregnancy?

Not too likely. 21 days is general.....but one has to account for the fact that you may not have actually caught her on her first day. Some females may actually go a little longer...some a little shorter. Is always best to play it safe & allow extra time. Generally, the vulva will go back to normal more or less, unless impregnated. Hope this helps.

The link someone gave me (in this thread) really helped me understand heat cycles.

The bleeding - they are in heat before that. I believe (if I remember from the article) they can get pregnant any time in a 33 day window (shorter for some, but 33 days is the longest).

During the last phase which is 60-90 days (after the 33 days - shorter for some), the progesterone levels can cause "fake pregnancy" symptoms.... but if she does, they do recommend a vet trip!

Then there is the 2-3 months of inactivity

Is your male fixed?
