Hi I'm new so pardon the strange questions....I've heard from friends that some dogs like to eat cat droppings from litter boxes and wondered if this is typical dog behavior and should expect our new puppy to indulge when were not watching? Thanks for your responses.

Glad that you posted about this issue since we have two cats. Their litter box in kept in the Powder Room and we have to be careful that our Snuggles (Yorkie) does not go in their since she like to get into their litter box. We keep it gated off for that reason.

We had this problem with Ollie sneaking a delight or two when we were not looking. My hubby ended up building an enclosure to put the litter box in. Smudge can get in and out, but Ollie can't even begin to get in.
