I noticed the disclaimer towards the end of the linked website. I hope people follow that advice. The author says: "I do not recommend people take their dogs off their heartworm medications unless they agree to do so with their holistic vet or veterinary naturopath's supervision."

Very true....We have a holistic vet, so you are right: You need to still do this under a vet's guidance!
