Pet Plan for me too! I paid for the year and it was less than $200. I believe it goes up as the dog ages, but the peace of mind is so worth it. I did the Bronze plan.

I have vpi, I get a discount through work and it is less expensive than petplan. If I only had one dog, I would do petplan, after reading about the different insurances I do think petplan is the best. Do read the policy, ALL of it. I work in insurance and get so tired of people bad mouthing insurance companies because they did not read their own policy. (Not that anyone here would do that
)Just know what you are buying. |

Because I have 4 insured, I get a discount for multiple dogs. I think that mine is about 120.00 a month for all of them. Some people say just save the money for an emergency ,but one serious illness or accident could be way more that what I pay in a year for all of mine. I feel safer and don't mind paying it.

It is a waste of money. We had it the first year we had our cats. It did not pay at all to have it. We spent way more than we ever got back from it. I would not recommend it.

I paid a thousand dollars, cash, to fix my Peetle's leg when she tore her ACL jumping down from the couch. I would have loved to have had pet insurance then. I'll have it when I have my next Maltese, for sure. I also would have loved it when she was seeing a specialist for the last couple years of her life for her heart valve problem. CHa ching, jeez Louise....
