ok i just got off the phone with the vet , her urine is beautiful so he does not think pyometra its too soon usually happens much later after her heat , he said not imposibble hormonal behaviour ???? and to bring her in tomorrow just for a check up

I'd guess her liver then, Anna.

It is a tricky thing.... and her heat may have caused a "flare up" for whatever reason.

How is her diet?

What supports is she on?

Grace is doing beautifully with a vegetarian diet and the herbals she is on. She also gets the Milk Thistle and Sam-E.....

Ana, thats good that her urine is normal. At least you can bring her in for a checkup and make sure she is okay. Keep us posted.

Tori im guilty of splurging with her getting extra chicken and rawhide because she was doing so well ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i feel so bad but today we are back on strict liver protocol !!!!

Oh!

Rawhides are Grace's nemesis! If she eats one she throws up and then is so yuck the next day!

so we banished them from the house.

And she hasn't been eating any meats. Eggs and dairy only for animal products. The rest are veggies and grains.

For chewing.... I got her the top of an antler (not cut in half) that she gnaws on.... and I have been getting her nylabones .... Once I took all the chewies away she started happily chewing on the nylabones.

I got her a 3 pack that has chicken and chocolate flavored LOL

Get back onto her protocol.... and if you need help finding alternative chews, let me know.

Becky is so picky !!!!! drives me nuts!!! she hates most things only likes pasta with a touch of chicken or very little ground veal enough for smell and yogurt vanilla flavor activia , apple sauce , some cheese some days and egg whites some days !!!!
