Wooried about Becky
Hello everyone ,
well i dont know but Becky is just not herself she sleeps all day , but her apetite is still good , no diareah , no vomiting just not active , i was thinking winter blues but it has been a week ????? im so scared about PYOMETRA i have been checking no puss or anything no symptoms just depressed ?????? Anna |

Oh no, poor Becky.
Can you take her to the vet just to be sure there is not something medical going on? If it is not like her to sleep all day then I would be worried too. Sometimes our gut tells us when something isn't right, and it is better to check it out just to be safe. It is so hard when they can't tell us what is wrong. I hope she is feeling better soon.

Have you tried extra play time and try to stimulate her? She may be bored. I know when I get bored I sleep a lot too

Since she did just have her first heat, I'd take her to the vet just to be checked.
From what I've read Pyometra doesn't show many signs until it is really bad.... so I'd get her in just to be safe. Hugs and prayers for Becky.

So im taking Becky urine this morning to the vet , start from there , if negative we go in tomorrow for blood work check for elevated wbc ....... anyone have any experience with pyometra ???? like i said she has no other symtoms besides very depressed not want to do nothing , yes i have tried to stimulate her she does not want to play

Depression can also be a symptom of fever...I would take her in and have all the necessary tests run as soon as possible...keep us posted and I hope she feels better...

She has been tested for her liver , her bile acids came back high 129 post ans has been on liver protocol for 3 months now ???? i will wait until they call me with the results and then take it from there .... her symtoms were anorexia and diareah back then ....
