Our vet gave us the purple revolution meant for dogs 5lbs-10lbs for Gustave. He currently weighs 5lbs exactly. I am worried about giving him this dosage. Does anyone have experience with this?

When I first started Pipper on Revolution, he was right on the borderline too and like you, I was worried but my vet reassured me it was perfectly safe. She said testing has proved that used at 10x (I think it was 10x) the recommended dosage, it still had no ill effects and she would rather the dog had enough of the topical than not enough.

Yes, that's what my vet said too. That the lower dosage might not be as effective. Thanks!

It is perfectly safe. You'd have to put a ton of packets on him to overdose. Selemectin is a pretty safe drug.
