Now that Oscar is recovering from his back problems, does anyone use an "orthopedic" bed? Does it really make a difference? I did take away his round bed since I don't want him curled up with the back problem, I gave him a flat bed so he sleeps straighter but wondering if an investment in an orthopedic bed is worth it now? And if so, any recommendations?

I have a memory foam bed for Gus.... It is actually a 24" x 24" sample from a mattress LOL They sell them on ebay. It comes in a zippered cover and I made another cover with some minky fleece to make it cozy.
It really helps him. We have tile floors here.... When he lays on the tile, I notice he is stiff and sore when he gets up. When he lays on the bed, he gets up much easier. So for Gus... it helps.

This is what Sher sent one of my doggies, who was having a very hard time with back, and legs. It has worked wonders for many of my wee ones. I am so grateful to Sher, and Linda. My Joplin is now sleeping on it, and the difference is amazing.

I have psoriatic arthritis and I know memory foam helps me. I wonder if it would be less expensive if you got a memory foam pillow for yours to sleep on.
