I'm so sorry guys. I feel like this is never ending questions LOL Hope I'm not bugging you!

So Grace's bleeding is becoming straw colored, like someone told me it would.

I think this is from a mix of that with a little left over blood... it looks kind of greenish yellow/tan? Not that greenish...and this is when it's on the little cotton fabric pad.... the discharge coming out of her looks orange-ish..... but is that bad?

It also started smelling last night. I thought maybe she needed washed so I washed her last night. But the smell is back.... I had appointments so wasn't home most the day so didn't notice it until now.

It isn't a fishy smell. It isn't a metallic smell. It's not a yeast smell. It's sharp tho and makes me want to puke (which means little these days I'm very easily nauseated). Maybe a sharp musky smell is a good description? Kind of....

I've wiped her with baby wipes (unscented) and smelled her and she does not smell. It is the discharge (which is still bloody).

All I know is it is not a pleasant odor.

Vet time?

Or is this normal end of cycle "scent"? LOL

Tori, this all seems normal to me. I would just hang in there and it should be over soon. I know it seems like an eternity but it should end any day now. Hugs to you, Grace and Gus.

Metallic is what blood smell like i would think Tori because of the iron in our blood just keep an eye for other symptoms lethargy , no appetite, but with babies like our sometimes its hard to tell because it all has become the norm........
