The vet squeezed us in this evening and Ted is in perfect health. Still not sure why he's been so glum. I'm going to keep a close eye on him

You got him at 5 weeks?
Was it a rescue situation? Hmm... hope it is something like teething (finishing getting in baby molars)....

Tori, if I remember correctly, she saved him from some woman who was going to sell him on Craigslist and her mom and cousin got his siblings too. She was trying to save him. She's got other posts about it. I'm glad she saved this little baby and has been taking good care of him because the woman had apparently already taken him away from his mother and feeding him puppy food at 4 weeks.

 Might be helpful to just state that in a line somewhere in future posts since it does matter..... Just because he was so young.I'm glad you rescued him. Maybe he is cold? Grace will whine (and used to when she was younger) when she was cold. She'd just sit there sad and whine. If he has a sweater on maybe his butt is cold LOL Just thinking.... I hope he bounces out of it soon. My bet is he's cold or he is cutting his last baby teeth, which can be painful.

I didn't realize he was the furbaby gotten on Craigslist at 4 weeks. I do remember reading that post but didn't put it together. He probably is going through something due to the fact he was taken away from his Mommy and siblings way to young. Or like Tori said maybe teething. Did you bring him to the vet for a checkup? Hugs to you and Ted.

If she has had him for 6 weeks since he was 4 weeks old could be so many things.
Maybe some of our wonderful breeders will see this and can chime in on proper care in this special situation.
