I am glad you took him to the vet, but honestly, crying is not typical unless there is something wrong. I wonder if the vet missed something. It can be easy to do when the symptoms are so general. Keep a close eye on him and if he continues to do this watch closely for other signs as to what might be going on with him (i.e. does he eat and drink and pee in normal amounts and colors, is his stool normal, is he moving freely without any lameness).

So glad you took him to the vet. I would keep a close eye on him and as Carina said make sure he is eating, peeing, pooping and playing like a puppy should. Hope he feels better soon. Please keep us posted.

He still seems a bit sad, but no crying last night or so far this morning. He's eating, drinking, and going potty like normal. I still don't know why he's so gloomy but I'm still watching him, giving Extra cuddles and hugs. Thanks everyone.

In case he's teething, does he have things to chew on, like a bully stick? Leila gets kinda on the wild side when her gums are really bothering her and when I give her one, she calms down and gives her stick a good chewing. Even if he's not teething, maybe something like a bully stick would still give him comfort since puppies love to chew and it would be good (I would think) to help develop his jaw muscles.
