Default Never give up!

My DH has said on occasion that I am "stubborn"
I prefer the word "tenacious." Sometimes I wish I knew sooner when to quit, but it just isn't in me.
I have just located (quite by chance really) a place here that does "animal" CT scans. I have a friend from the US who is a pediatrician here & her dog just had amazing treatment after being hit by a car, getting a broken spine & having surgery & recovered completely. Apparently there is a new law in Greece that allows vets to purchase & use CT machines!! I just had an email from her suggesting we consider having Kitzel evaluated by this team of doctors & radiologist! I plan to call them to ask about costs, etc. tomorrow. We won't be able to do anything w/them before early Jan. but at least it is another possible place to find some answers for little Kitzi.
He is still limping as before & I would just love to be able to give him some relief from his pain. He seems to be somewhat use to it, but my heart hurts each time I see him on a walk.
I keep saying this is the last thing I will do. . . but hope springs eternal in the human heart! ♥

In this case I think being stubborn is a good thing. It sounds like a great idea and why not if you can possibly further investigate what is wrong with Kitzi....I would do it too.......this is what Mommy's are here for. Sorry that he still is limping and feeling discomfort....poor baby. Hope you soon can find some answers and relief for him. Hugs to you all.

Sandi, you are such a wonderful Mommy

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

Sandi, I've been called stubborn quite a few times, myself! If there's a way.. I'll find it!! In Kitzel's case, I'd do the same thing! You are a good mom to your babies, and I know it has to hurt you to see him limping. Hoping the CT scan sheds some light on this.

You wear that stubborn tag proudly, girl. Kitzi has a wonderful Mommy that loves him and wants the best.

Stubborn? Who, you? Really? When it comes to our kids, there is no mountain we won't climb. I was reading what you wrote and I keep thinking of Lucy down the hall. Hops, skips and jumps like crazy, so much of the time. Her mom swears by the Animal Medical Center in NYC (around since the early 1900's I believe) and the specialists there tell her that Lucy doesn't need surgery. I don't get it but I've never seen a happier or more active dog than Lucy. I wouldn't let it stop there but part of me wonders if some of them really aren't in pain with it. On the other hand I think "Why the heck would you hop if it didn't hurt?" I don't know but hope you figure things out though I would have thought TX was your best bet. Just hoping that Kitzel's really not in pain.

Hope, faith and love and the greatest of these is love. A Momma's love entitles her to be a bit stubborn when need be. Paws crossed for everything to come together for you guys

Default that's a term that has been associated with me. Kitzel is a lucky boy to have such a "tenacious" mom.

the way I see it...stubborn is refusing to give in, tenacious is refusing to give UP. Sandi, we all know you will never give up on your little have hundreds of aunties standing behind you.
