He actually likes pink
 I just thought his face looked so sad.... Sigh. If it isn't improving by Sunday she has a script waiting at the local pharmacy for us... but since his Colitis is doing so well, we want to forgo oral antibiotics unless necessary. So... hoping it starts getting better. She gave me some of the ..... The solution they use for surgeries.... It's an antiseptic. And then a cream that is an antibacterial and antifungal. Crossing our fingers (or toes )

How's little Gussy doing? I hope it heals soon. Amy had one that got caught on a blanket,it got really infected fast.. The vet removed it when she went in for a dental a couple weeks later since she got it caught again. We even trimmed it short but it still caught on blankets . We never had any of our other fluffs have that issue since they had their dew claws removed shortly after birth...

Yeah.... I hate dew claws LOL
Our vet looked down at Grace... while examining his infected claw and said, "You're getting her's taken off, right?" Yep.... Totally. I hope it heals so he doesn't need any further treatment. If he had to have it removed... ugh. He didn't do well with the spay and rear dew claw removal surgery. I wish we had removed them then. She thinks he snagged it and then it got infected... said it's really infected like up in the nail.... the base is all puffy. But hoping that 4x daily soaks in the solution and then keeping it bandaged will help. I may need to tape his dew claws down from now on when he's going to play with my sister's dog.

Sorry I'm late on this but wanted to say I'm so sorry Gus has this problem with the dewclaw! Praying it heals up quickly!!

He's tired this morning .... But he did go find his ball so he could lay with it
But I know it hurts... When I changed his bandage - did the solution and the cream - he was shaking the whole time and about 5 minutes after. Hoping to see some improvement today. At least in the color.... If not I will call tomorrow morning and set up an appointment for Monday. Sad that he is in pain on his birthday
