Thank you so much everyone! Yeah it stinks that he has to have this but we gotta do what we gotta do....
I will say the massages are helping already.... maybe along with the med I can see he has 'dropped' his leg tonight, and I can feel the 'tightness has loosened up somewhat. Only got 2 'sessions' in today will get another in before bedtime. It's amazing how beneficial that 'therapy' can be. I know it helped in Missy's knee surgery recoup tremendously.
At the first session I could see he was tensing up even more as I placed my hands on the muscles the vet showed me where to 'concentrate'... and wanted to move away.
I know he loved to be massaged on the neck near the ears so I moved up there to relax him a little then continued with one hand there, to divert his attention ,and went and used my other hand at the leg muscles and he was much better.
Meanwhile he is is normal little impish self... doesn't appear to be phased at all! Thank God! In fact he even was initiating play with Naddie a little while ago..though she kind of ignored him .

Terry - just what you need...not! I'm so glad that the massage is doing it's job and that Quincy is loosening up. See what the surgeon says. Maybe there's a chance that therapy will work. Don't give up hope and I know that if he needs surgery he'll be in the best hands with you. But yes, all for after the holidays. Do you have insurance?

Poor baby...my prayers are with Qunicy and when you have the surgery, may he have a fast recovery.

No, Sue I don't have insurance on them..I did what I did with Missy and opened an 'account' and paid into it monthly for stuff like this. Should be OK in that department.... I HOPE! LOL .....Otherwise, it'll be Gruel and 'generic corn flakes'

on the menu for awhile LOL .

Terry -- I'm so glad that he's responding to the treatment and massage. You really didn't need this on top of everything else.

Sending lots of positive energy and prayers that 2013 will be a much better year for you and yours.
