I'm so sorry Lulu ... and you... are going thru all this. That 'scream' must have scared the bejeebers out of you! I know I sure would have freaked out!.
Praying that no harm done and for speedy healing! How long will she need to wear the brace?

They did an X-ray and Lulu has either stretched the sutures or a knot has come loose. I've only talked to one of the assistant vets and not the surgeon but she said he will have to go back in and repair it. I'm waiting for him to call and give me the details.
I told my husband if she gets through surgery #2, I'm taking her to live in our guest house away from our other pets until she heals. They get her too excited. I need to keep her away from things that tend to make her move around and bark. I wish I could have done that to begin with but my daughter in law had open heart surgery a few days after Lulu's surgery and I was away from home for a week taking care of my grandkids. My husband took wonderful care of Lulu while I was away but when I got home I could see she was getting too rambunctious because of Scooter especially. If they're in the same room we have to keep both of them still and quiet. It's tough to do. So I think the guest house is the way to go. Gosh. I hope you don't mind that I'm using this post to vent. Aww sorry to hear this will be thinkin and praying for you both!! Don't worry we all need to vent sometimes and here is as good as place as any cause we know what it's like to see one of our little fluffs hurt. Please keep us updated. Did he say when surgery 2 would be.xx

Jane - I just saw this. I'm so sorry. I can't believe they have to go back in again.
 You've all gone through so much. Sending lots of prayers to you and Lulu and hoping the surgery goes well. Don't worry about venting. We all need to sometimes.
