You can give him a little bit of yogurt 3-4 hours after his antibiotic doses (like in the middle).... That will help replenish his good flora... the antibiotic *will* kill it again...but at least you can keep it regrowing.... then keep giving it to him after you stop the antibiotic.

I thought so too about the pumpkin being fine. Ok, I give him yogurt everyday but hours before his antibiotics. Thanks for the tip, will give it to him after too.

Err, what the...

He was sleeping and acting all strange all this time. I put water right next to him because I thought he might be too tired to walk to it and he drank a lot. Then I carried him to the pee pad and he pooped.

Ever since then he's been completely OK. Running around, pulling on my pants, spilling water everywhere, jumping on the couch, regular Gustave stuff.

I am so happy! So glad to see him be normal. I guess the problem was tummy related indeed if pooping fixed it. We are still going to see the vet tomorrow but I'm so glad he's back to being himself.

So glad he's starting to feel better. I think you have to realize that he went through trauma - the bite and probably even more so the vet visit and meds etc. He was probably exhausted from the stress. I think by tomorrow, he'll be back to himself. Glad he was getting his feistiness

Glad he's acting like the old Gustave!!! Can he really jump up on the couch?? Dewey can't?? He tries but can't make it up! The other three are so hapoy about that!

Oh, no he can't. I meant he just put his front paws on it. Though once he came running from a distance and managed to make it up there all the way. It was hilarious. He looked like he couldn't believe it. He hasn't been able to do it again though.

The poop was a little hard than usual. Now this morning he hasn't pooped at his regular time yet. But I guess his tummy might keep being weird till he finishes his antibiotics dosage.

He's acting normal otherwise. I am so glad.
