Yes! Who would've thought!!

We went to the doctor today. They said he's completely fine. This was my regular vet who hasn't seen him yet since the bite. He pointed out something the other vet had missed. That dog had bit off a bit of Gustave's lower eyelid. Nothing too serious, but it was scratched. The vet said his pigment might never come back at that spot because of scar tissue. It's small but it made me sad. His eyes have the eyeliner look and now he looks like someone did a bad job with the eyeliner on one of his eyes.

At the same time it reminded me of how lucky we are. If that dog got Gustave above the eye and under it, he could've easily got him in the eye. And that would've been much, much worse.

Gustave is doing so well. Loved the video and pics. So happy that things didn't turn out worse. He looks great!!
