I see him sleeping in his crate, even when I'm about to head to bed. When I wake up, hes sleeping right beside me!!! It's cute but is this normal? Does everyone's fluff sleep with you? This started since he went to the groomers and got his short, short haircut

Maybe he just feels more comfortable with you?? When I am on the couch watching tv or napping, Sadie prefers to lay right on top of me or snuggled up to my chest. But when I have tried to get her to sleep in bed with me, she refuses. She will jump down and stand at the door of her crate staring at me until I let her in. Dogs are so particular! Lol

This is quite normal. Zoe never slept in a crate. I got her at 5 1/2 months old and she has been sleeping in bed with me from day one. I wouldn't have it any other way.

He is probably cold.....
Gus usually starts out sleeping in his bed on the floor...but then will move up to the big bed and snuggle near my legs as it gets colder...

Probably cold with shorter hair, also his skin may be sensitive following the haircut and the bedding feels good against it. Luck has slept on my bed since the first night, depending on his mood - on top of my chest, on my head, next to my head on the pillow, across my legs, next to me, snuggling up next to my chest or off on his own pillow on the bed - some nights under the covers, other nights ontop of the covers. His mood and sleeping position changes nightly, but he always hops ontop of me just before I wake and is fixated on my eyes. Once he sees them open, its a nuclear explosion of kisses and bouncing ontop of me- what a burst of energy first thing in the morning

All 3 of my furbabies--Daisy Grace, Laci Jo and Zoey--sleep with us every night. Also, we have 5 cats and at least 3 of them sleep with us along side the dogs. It has gotten to the point that if someone is not in the bed in their place, I can't go to sleep. My hubby sometimes gets upset when he rolls over on somebody, but he is a sweetheart and has never fussed about it.

Mine have slept with us since day one too. We can't sleep without them no.. Around 7 am they start climbing on top of us, just waiting for us to wake up,then the lick fest begins and they're ready to start the day....

I guess I'm lucky.... Gus and Grace are both content sleeping in LOL... I'm usually poking them to get up at 8 or 9 am so we can go outside. But, we do stay up really late...so that might be why.

Every morning at about 5 I can feel him on my chest, waiting for me to open my eyes. Unfortunately, I can not teach him the difference between weekdays and weekends (when I would love to sleep in).
