Awe-I'm sorry..it sounds like she is on the mend..thank goodness..Tessa, you "naughty" girl..I have to keep Lily on a prescription-strength probiotic and it does make a difference..less tummy rumbles and firm stools. You might want to ask your vet about doing this with Miss Tessa..I use the Nutramax Proviable-DC. It is one of the better ones. Just 1 capsule per day sprinkled on the food. I order it from Amazon. Most of the probiotics that you buy over the counter aren't strong enough for our babies who have gastro-intestinal issues. Tessa, listen to your Mommy!

Everyone, thank you so much for your prayers and good thoughts. We wound up back at the ER vet last night because she wasn't getting better. They changed her meds and her hives/rash is significantly better and she has been keeping the rice mixture down ok today. She also hasn't had diarrhea For about 10 hours. She is still very lethargic and not feeling her best but she did the breakfast dance this morning and tried to climb into the dishwasher this afternoon, both of which I consider good sign. I think we are both looking forward to getting a good nights sleep tonight.
Sweetness and Tessa

Maggie, I hope Tessa feels better real soon. All of us here know what it's like when our fluff babies are sick ... we worry about our angels and just want them to feel all better. My prayers are with you and precious Tessa. Please give her some gentle hugs and kisses from her Auntie Marie.

It sounds like Tessa still has some healing to do but is well on her way! Breakfast dancing and dishwasher climbing are good signs indeed! Hope you all have a very restful night.

I would hate to live in a world without dogs, glass, or wine...
